A lot many niches.
I just replicate anything that I find easier to copy.
The competition analysis gave positive results to go for them
Current Top 20 websites in those niches can be replicated in terms of their content (quality and quantity) and backlink profile.

I pick those niches in which I am highly interested. Because that's what gonna keep me motivated.

Same. I only use niches I know very well and have fun with. I have tried others but if I am not burning for it I slow down fast and have trouble keeping the pace.

I enjoy working in many niches, some are of big interest to me, but I mostly just enjoy having a pulse on google from ranking lots of varied keywords from different sites. I usually have to find a twist of a tried and tested niche before I decide to work in it, something that gives the site a bit of a vision, and direction. and like others said, something that interests you can keep you very motivated when you don't get your $100 a day within the first week! lol
You have to be prepared for a niche before going in, but you also have to be prepared to understand you don't know much about it once you've started, and have the porridge for breakfast to continue till you get success. Don't let not knowing about a niche put you off either. It can be as much learning for you as it is for your readers.
