YO, is Philippines mate .
I'll feel very wealthy with 1500 euro/month.
I live in Tunisia and you can live a good life with 500 euro only.
600€ rent for a 140.000€ property is normal, also in Cities like Berlin, Germany the buy price it's around 20 years of rent (or the rent is 1/240 of the buy price)
But I am impressed, that you can get a Villa for 140.000€ there
I think to feel wealthy I would have to make 7500€ net-profit monthly.
I do not agree. I sold a student property in the north of the Netherlands for 130.000 euro with 1.400 euro rent excluding g/w/e. By your calculation, it should be worth over 300.000 euros. But that is not how it works.
My point is that in those countries 600 euro rent is not a lot of money if compared to the buying price. If you pay 600 euro rent for a small apartment in Berlin it's different, because it's most likely funded without a bank loan and has fewer maintenance costs then a villa in this specific region. So yes, it's cheap for 600 euros or 140.000 euros. Living right there might be cheaper as well but I cannot see this work. Maybe you get an apartment with a shared pool but not a villa...
What minimum income do you need to feel yourself wealthy?
If my income is still positive after bills, necessities, and can afford to fund my day off. At minimum I would feel wealthy.
I desire none of those things either. But having kids is also an extra cost. And as I mentioned, you need to be ready if a lawsuit or serious medical evsnt happens. Then there's retirement. The money today won't be worth the same later on. So believe me, don't get comfortable.
The roof on your house collapses and it costs $12,000 to repair...where's the money for it? Your family member suffers from a debilitating illness and can no longer work, where do you get money to help? What about retirement? I don't think some people here understand that being comfortable means you'll get fucked eventually.
True. I personally do not plan on having kids. If a tragic situation happened, then I'll leave myself out of money because I know I can make more money. I'm also too young to think about retirement, so that isn't a thing. Just two different ways of life. I respect your way of living and the success you've created!
$100,000 a month
If you're in your 20s and you think you're too young to think about retirement then good luck. With inflation over the next few decades and a huge portion of the workforce retiring, it's not going to be pretty.
The only possible lawsuits the vast majority will ever face in their life unless they engage in negligent behaviors or seek to harm someone is an auto accident or home related. Insurance will cover both. Insurance will also cover disability and health issues.
I'm a bit under 20 at 18. I don't think me sharing my ideas with you would do more good than harm, as I have a completely different view on things. Not your stereotypical teen view, as I have never been a teen (struggled with schizophrenic, that surely matures you), but a more out of this world view. That being said, I hope you have a fantastic rest of your day and keep on succeeding!
150$ Monthly, Can Be enough in my country
Really? Is that in a city or on some remote village?
It's In Egypt Mate, and to be honest these days we can't even Get this 150 bucks
Those are bills. I already stated my income would cover my bills, needs & even "fund" my day off.
$6000/month in US
$3000/month in EU
You should add a poll. Even though i live in one of the worlds most expensive countries, I live minimalistic, so 5000$ would be enough for me to feel wealthy as f.
