Hello Readers,

So I will be having a top reviewed ecommerce expert create me a Shopify store with everything.

I haven't chosen a niche yet but the PRO will do product research of the market in demand and all other bits and bobs and implement SEO.

I would hire affiliates to promote my store.

So here is my question, What marketing materials would my affilates expect me to provide them with to promote my ecommerce (Shopify) store?

I feel the need to ask as this isn't your typical clickbank product such as a software, betting, services or similar where you have typical long sales pages, there wouldn't be much to write about ecommerce products other than their description.

Looking forward to your input, thank you in advance! :)

First off a landing page and product proven to convert.

So would I need to create a separate landing page for each of my products in my store or would the product pages themselves within my store be enough?

You need to prove your products sell before any serious affiliate will work with you.

When you spend your own money optimizing everything and it starts converting you will get your answer.

In my opinion you are premature looking for affiliates before you have products, a store or any sales.

Call me whatever you want, at the end of the day nobody is born educated and we all learn something new everyday. What would have been immature of me is to jump straight in and making a ton of mistakes without asking for advice and thinking I know it all. Opinions are not facts, never have been, never will be.

I said premature not immature, but now your being both!

Hey Eholic,
How are you doing?
I can see that you want to do product research,
I want to advise you that the product to be researched must be the one that sells most and there must be a targeted country that you will face to market to,
If you can't do all this, Kindly message me and I will tell you how you can be done successfully without stress,
Thanks.

The answers to your question cannot be determined because you did not give enough information.

Are you selling -

Digital Products?

Physical products?

0) You are risking your funds by asking "advice" on a forum for a few things when you do not have a BLUEPRINT or Project Plan of what you want to accomplish.

1) By coming here and saying what you did you just approached a lawyer and said "I need this. Here is my checkbook. Give it back to me when you are done"

2) "The Pro" is going to take your money and you won't even know if what he did was real or not.

3) You are ignorant. DO NOT BE IGNORANT CONCERNING YOUR FUNDING.

4) Search BHW for courses related to ECommerce, Product Creation, Product Launch, Affiliate Marketing, Authority Websites. Look for the word "MEGA" which are cloud storage areas that people have uploaded courses.

5) You are not "hiring" affiliates to promote your "store". You are asking-convincing-begging other marketers to promote YOUR PRODUCT.

6) CREATE A BRAND. Get the domain and create a Wordpress AUTHORITY WEBSITE related to your niche that includes you BRAND.

7) Then decide - DO I WANT TO SHIP PRODUCT MYSELF? You said you wanted affiliates working for you so it sounds like you want to do fulfillment yourself for physical products.
BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DECISION.

a) Who are your competitors and can you beat them? Can you beat the next week? Next year?

b) Are you storing products and fulfillment yourself? Do you really want to wrap and ship products everyday? Got an extra bedroom for that? Or a building?

c) Is your fulfillment company storing products and doing fulfillment? How much do they charge for storage, pick-and-pack, boxes, handling and postage.

8) I had a small company several years ago. Health niche. We even hired a contract company and manufactured a specialty product. We sold worldwide wholesale and retail.
We did about $350K revenue yearly, so it was small but ok for us. The online retailers like Vitacost put us out of business because the product manufacturing could not be
scaled. I tell you that having to pack 25-40 orders every day GOT REALLY OLD, REALLY FAST.

Whatever you do, create a Blueprint, examine every part and only when you have worked out the problems on paper, go live.

If you trust someone else to do this for you , YOU ARE TOAST.

Sincerely,

The Eye

PS. Check some of my previous postings for additional information.

P.P.S. The guy I admired at the post office every day was smarter than I was. He went to the flea market and got one of those flea market wholesale magazines.
It was called "East Coast Merchandiser". He found dealers that sold closeouts and liquidations for LINGERIE. Right. Womens underwear. He would buy BOXES
of them. Hundreds to a bag. In bulk. Then he and his wife would iron them and put each in a plastic bag with a fancy label. Then he ran ads in the adult magazines.
He sold thousands a week. Probably made 5 times or more what we made. He didn't know if men were buying them for their girlfriends or if the transvests
were buying them. I don't think he cared. If he was greedy he could have scaled it using a fulfillment house.
