One thing I learned later in life is that not everyone around you is actually your friend.

Some people are only there when things are easy, fun, or beneficial for them. When you struggle or stop being useful, they disappear without a word.

It took time, but it taught me to value peace, boundaries, and a much smaller circle.

What’s a lesson life taught you a little late?

No one is your friend. Even your best buddies will leave you if you are useless to them.

Sadly, true. Real friends stick around, the rest only show up when it benefits them. Better to have a few who actually care than a crowd that disappears.

Exactly. Real ones stay through the ups and downs, the rest vanish the moment things get tough. Quality over quantity, always.
 
You need to take care of your mental well-being. Working 24/7 makes burnout very easy, and it’s important to give yourself time to rest. This was an important realization for me in 2025.

Absolutely agree. I learned the same lesson the hard way. Hustling nonstop sounds good on paper, but burnout wipes out progress fast. Rest isn’t quitting, it’s part of staying sharp long term.
 
Learning and preparing to stay alone and happy with it. No one is genuinely happy for you!
