I want to put some video on my homepage without it negatively affecting my serps. What format should I use. It might be long like a sales letter so I dont know if I can do utube. Will real player take too long to load and affectg my serps? What about utube? It seems pretty quick to load. Suggestions

In my opinion, putting a video on your site will only improve your ranking. I've always used YT videos and I've never seen a negative impact in the SERPs from doing this.

yeah google likes a diversification of information - youtube and photos are a great way to do this. just have a balance of text/vids/photos
