I have a pinterest account creator and i was wondering what kind of proxies would be good to use on it? I only have 20 dollars so i can't buy private proxies. My bot comes with a proxy scraper so should i just keep scraping public proxies and hope all the accounts don't get banned?

with public proxies i think you will be in trouble.. when you are on a low budget, create some accounts with public proxies and give them some days to see what will happen

you may try to find private shared proxies (same as private, but 2-3 people use them) , they are cheaper and i think there were some providers around..

Could be wrong but I've never heard of Pinterest banning IPs and it's never happened to me. They seem to have a graduated response of temporarily preventing actions, setting accounts to "read only" mode and then banning the login (however in my experience you have to be very aggressive to get banned).

Regarding the OP I'm actually in the same boat ATM: looking for a new proxy provider due to Pinterest and a few other sites that I use bots on.

If it's any help I switched to Sharedproxies.com who charge 0.50 USD per IP (price lowers as you order larger numbers of IPs) plus a fixed rate for adding IP authentications beyond the first one however I wouldn't recommend them *if you're botting".

Not sure exactly what causes it - is it headers or something? I wouldn't know - but account creation for Tumblr and Pinterest on a third party service I use works fine through Sharedproxies, manually logging in and performing actions works fine - but - performing actions through bots is next to useless as actions continually fail due to login issues.

So avoid SharedProxies for Pinterest & Tumblr botting - other than this issue I would recommend Sharedproxies however, support and performance has been very good for scraping SE and link submission.
