What kind of programming is used for bots?

I was going to ask same question but thanks to OP.
Guys what you recommend to learn first python or c#?
Or Mastering anyone and i can do everything that other one does?
I am little confused.

A bot is basically coded in any scripting and programming language.It doesn't matter if you can use visual basic , c, c++ ,Python , java and other languages.And the best programming language depends on the bot goal and code preference.
 
Is it automate native instagram app or instagram web? If you want to automate instagram web just use a headless browser or web driver.
