A new friend of mine started a business 2 years ago. He worked out the manufacturing, supply chain, online store, and customer service. He's discovered that marketing is the hardest part. He's only getting 15 sales a month, but could be getting 100, 500, or 1000 for these $200 products. He's asked me if I want to help out and what the collaboration would look like. Would I charge a fee, get commission for products, etc... So I'm bringing to the table 400,000 IG followers (across 100 accounts)...projected to be 1 Million followers by July. I also will do all the SEO stuff, churn 100 high quality articles for drip feeding a blog, pinterest, facebook, medium.com, everything crosslinking to each other, setup a mailing list with dripping weekly digests along with free introductory gift (ebook) to capture email subscribers... etc.... I don't need an income right now, so my thinking is completely long-term If you were in my position what would you do? Would you ask for equity? Building a brand could be worth way more than an upfront short-term commission once my marketing is established and social media platforms on autopilot.
