    After reading this thread

    Advaliant is getting cocky.

Just wondering what kind of money these guys make. Do they are paid salary? hourly wage? Do they make money based off what their affiliate make?

Most are paid a split between salary and commission.

Because they're dealing with people who make serious money or they're one of the ones paid a full salary.

i've heard that most AMs barely make anything. And that came straight from Nevarc. From what he said, it seems that most of them do NOT get commissions. I may be wrong, but if they were getting commissions, they wouldn't be trying to bust BHers or steal their affiliates traffic for the network (which they sometimes do).

They probably get a very small percentage of overall volume like most sales managers + salary. There are probably a lot of jealous AM's out there, but at the same time its one of the best jobs to have. They get to see first hand what works and what doesn't work for affiliates. Then they can steal traffic sources, quit the AM job, and go and make some real money! Now what is blackhat again...lol

Probably no more than 25k a year , esp at the smaller networks.

I don't know where you got that from, if that were true, I'd be an affiliate manager myself :) you're talking thousands of dollars to tens of thousands in "commissions" per day in that type of structure.

Most affiliate managers get a very small draw on the overall performance of their affiliates.

Average salary across the boards is in the high 20's to low 30's per year. Certainly established AM's with great performance records can do much better, but generally only if they are working for a multi million dollar company like a Hydra, or a private company with their own huge in house program.

My affiliate manager was so active at the first and i was promoting the offers he suggests me

but later i changed the offers and my income increased rapidly much more than it was before
and my AM became silence and a little ignorant toward me instead of being happy

AMs nowadays are getting cocky and tend to ignore low earning affiliates. They earn fixed pay + performance commission, that's what I know.

What kind of experience and education do you need to become an AM?
