I'm at a point where I am spending a lot of time at the desk but the one I have is over 10 years old. It's in good shape but does not allow multiple monitors and is not so comfortable.

If you have a picture or link to one that you use that works really well, please let me know.

    Thanks!

I use a wooden desk which I made it myself!

It has survived for over 6-7 years now (or many more, don't remember the day I created it and saved a lot of money). It's not an absolute masterpiece but people who have seen it have definitely said this, "that table looks like it's made by you" :D

Thanks for sharing. While looking around today, the thought crossed my mind that building one would have huge benefits and as you said, save a lot of money. I do not think that mine would look so good.

Another office space themed thread? Anyhow, you're in the USA, just head to your local IKEA and pick up a dining table for a computer desk. Works great.. Larger and more solid than most rinky dink desks out there.

People are actually using Screens.. It's 6 years that I'm only working on my Laptop. Maybe I should get one.
On the other hand my eyes recently had a prescription drop (Glasses). So I must be doing something good for my eyes.

Yes, screens are good. I'm not so sure looking at a notebook monitor helps your eyes over a standalone monitor. Mine are better than 20/20. I too am using a notebook on a docking station with a 21" monitor. It is very nice not having to move things around.

Not a fan of Ikea but I'll look. You never know.

The post above does give me some great ideas! Thanks.
