As some of you may already know, I am the owner of UploadPay.com, I'm currently split testing my content locker for the download page and I wanted your opinion on what designs / colors convert the best.

This is my current design and it is currently converting worse than just a plain white background.

What would your suggestions be? And what have you had success with in the past?

    Thanks, Aaron.

Honestly I have been seeing conversions with adscendmedia's generic content locker nearing 30%.

Doesn't have to be pretty, just has to get to the point with viable, easy converting offers.

Yea it seems the prettier they are, the less they convert.

Maybe try a darker background so the frame stands out better? IDK just my personal thought on it.

try contentlocker pro v2, im currently working on as project using that. It is alot more versatile than the ones you get on ad networks. Plus they can fill in two offers instead of one so your doubling up

Thanks, just made it darker and changed it to white.

I actually have CLP, I might contact them about my license for v2.

Your content lock doesn't appear when adblock is enabled, might wanna sort it out since people are starting to use adblocks more.

Yea I know, I have adblock myself. Do you know if there is a bypass or should I simply redirect people to tell them they need to disable it?

Try redirecting. Or use your own content lock.

btw, that script your using doesn't look very secure or reliable. I'd suggest you have your programmer (if you have one) go trough it and patch up any loopholes or security bugs.

Try not to get your account banned on your content lock network.. don't forget you're dealing with copyrighted content ;)

Just something for you to think about but I went to your locker on my smart phone an I can't even click one of the offers because the locker keeps snapping back out of view on my screen so it never lets me click.

too many colors and contrasting colors looks too much like a magazine page and distracting. A color scheme with a specific gamma of colors or even monochrome should be better imo.

Looks good at the mo. You could try something like a locked padlock pointing to text like "complete offer" poiting to an unlocked padlock.

Personally I didn't read your intro line the first time I saw it, and I'm sure there are others like me. A graphical representation of what's going on can sometimes be a big help.

I prefer using buttons rather than text - jazz up the look a bit

Anything to do with non-spam/anti-bot works really well with a PPD.
