So I've been studying the art of writing wp plugins for a few months now and I'm getting pretty proficient. I would like to develop a BH plugin to release here for a modest price just to get some juice flowing on the side since I've recently become unemployed (bummer). Unfortunately I'm at a complete loss of ideas.

Let me know what you guys need and how much you think it would be worth. Nothing is really out of the question as long as it's not blatant fraud... By the way, if I chose your idea, you get a free copy of the final product! Also, chances are that whatever project I chose, there will be a free version in addition to the paid version. Please share your ideas, and you might get the plugin you've been looking for all this time in return.

    Thanks!

An auto-blog plugin that has the best features of:

    1. Caff. Content.

    2. WP-Answers.

    3. WP-Robot.

    4. WP-Feed.

Will pull content from Article sites, YouTube, Yahoo! Answers, Google blogs, ClickBank, Ebay, and RSS feeds. Auto deletes duplicate content, pulls content in set amounts (5, 10, 15, etc. posts per session).

Thanks for getting it started Scarlet Pimp.

I kind of expected that content generation would be high up on the list for many people, and this is all very doable, but I think that it would interesting to explore a different style of content generation.

For example, scraping IMDB to build a film website, or scraping youtube.com/trailers to build a movie trailer site... I will strongly consider your idea, but I feel like something a bit more unique would serve it's users better than "yet another autoblog" plugin. Thanks again!

if you can do content generation with a built in re-writing feature that rewrites the articles and they actually still kinda make sense, that would be key.

i would say a really powerful content writer or generator would be a huge hit.

Another one is something related to SEO, keywords and backlinks builder.

    Home Page:
One that builds iframes for you for specific purposes. Not just cookie stuffing but like automatically pinging the website using the visitors IP address or autoloads your youtube video and gets you views on your video.

    Advanced content scraping:

Scrape anything, be it websites, RSS, youtube, forum, then automatically insert a matching picture for that post's keyword (by for instance, scraping flickr) or movie (youtube, metacafe, etc) to make the post look and feel more natural. On top of it, the plugin makes every post unique, delete double content, and all the standard features.

This is a nice and unique idea. Can you give some more examples of how you would want to apply the iframes? I haven't done much with youtube, but I was under the impression that in order for views to increase the video has to actually be played. I can see how having a pluging manage 1x1 iframes would be useful though. The pinging is something I will have to look into a bit more.
