I'm a little new at blasting link pyramids etc.

When you make a nice link pyramid etc., and you blast the HECK out of it with xrumor and SB etc., do you need to use the same keyword(s) you would use for your actual money site, as the anchor text for the links you are blasting to the Pyramid?

Or do you just use any old anchor text, or no anchor text, etc.??

Isn't the theory that you want to use your actual money keyword phrase to blast the link Pyramid? So you can basically make the link pyramid relevant to your money site, and pass link juice & authority?

    Thanks...

How I usually do it is as follows: the sites that point to my site directly use the actual keyword (let's say the keyword is "dog training"). The xRumer links and SB links that point to those sites use keywords like "Dog", "Training", "Dogs", etc.

Not sure this is the best approach but it certainly does the trick for me!
