1)My current investment was on alt coin, which failed miserably.I failed to put stop loss.

2)Investing too much on seo without proper research.

3)Investing on my college education.

What is yours?

1.) Trading stocks & crypto, without doing proper research.

lost about:$10k

However i believe the lesson i learned is a lot and i can recover those loses in the future and even make so much more by simply investing for the long trrm and not trading like an idiot.

2.) Friends that expects me to pay the bill since i have more money than them.

Basically since i have started to make decent money online my friends expect me to pay the bill all the time and that’s really annoying because they are expecting free lunch from me just because i have more. Anyway i stopped hanging out with them because of that.

3.) Spending so much money impulsively without thinking deeply about it.

(This was before)
Now I think that I’m a little better with managing my finances and i am also tracking each spending with a mobile app called “Money mgr.”
With this app i can review my spending every week or month and learn what to get rid of, or how i can improve managing my finances better.

1. Time investment in video games. Played RuneScape and League of Legends together for a total of probably 10k hours in the last 10 years. (I quit 2 years ago tho)

Nobody has answer 2nd question so far :D
Social media does give cancer big time. Currently there's a trend in my country on IG where influencers tell their following to ignore all the measurements that our government takes towards COVID.

I can think of only one atm

I purchased a guide for Instagram on BHW, spent 70€ on it and only skimmed through it. Complete waste of money, but the seller had such a great pitch that he convinced me instantly (he did not sleep for hours, spent up days locked in a hotel apartment, this is pure gold, valuable information, lovely infographics etc).

1. College Education
2. Reddit ads :(
3. Investing time in Gaming more than what I Should have

1- binary trading when I was 16, lost approx $3000
2- started Dropshing with 0 knowledge, bunt $1000s on FB ads
3-invested in the Ponzi scheme and hoping to be a millionaire overnight, and finally, that ended of scam

Lots of Lessons Learned :)

Oh yeah, I had a lot of those as padawan myself.

1.Cheap cars
2.Local business
3.Unnecessary accommodations

One business venture I invested about $20k in. (Vape industry)
Honestly, my timing was impeccable. I was just too young to really understand business in general. Ended up getting a shipment where around 50% were failing within a few days. Killed my customer base and my drive to pursue.
Businesses in the same niche that were starting at the same time now have many national stores and are thriving.
Came out about ~10k in the hole.
Lesson learnt. I wasn't ready to run that sort of business at 16-17.

If I had of done it now I would be able to manage it a lot better.

Someone should open this kind of thread for best investments too. Good thread.

1) time invested into unrealistic business ideas.
2) emotions invested into worrying about what people think of the person that you inherently are.
3) money invested into excessive debauchery.

1.) $800 on PTC sites
2.) $2000 tour package (utter bullshit)
3.) $1000 Digital Marketing Course (learned only a few basics)

My worst monetary investment:
  • Buying a license code for NCH Software WavePad Audio Editor - what they don't tell you is that they "update" the version of the software once a year and expect you to buy it at a discounted full price every time that happens or else you won't be able to use the software (not even the older version you bought the license for). @NCH Software: fucking cancer scrubs, suck by balls, you fucks!!!

For better or worse, I've never had a lot of money to invest in anything to begin with, so I've yet to make an actual bad investment. Every investment has been carefully calculated due to scarcity.

1. Investing in media buying without proper research and patience (lost about $3k+). I'm doing fairly well these days but with too little investment (I'm broke, lol)
2. Investing in 10 CPA sites last year where only 2 of 'em succeeded and 1 died after a few months (still made 100% ROI tho!)
3. My degree. Lol It's really a BS except for the great persons I met who are now my friends
