    Hi everyone,

I have a site hosted at Hosting24 and in the last week I have been hosting my site with them, my site has had alot of reoccurring problems. The customer support seem to be friendly enough (and very prompt) but these problems are starting to annoy and frustrate me as I know I am losing potential commissions. Today this happened while I was editing some content and now I can't even get into cPanel. Some errors/problems include:

    • Getting "error establishing a database connection" even though my WP config files have the correct DB info (I have quadrupled checked).
    • Getting "The connection was reset" error pages
    • Every now and then the site takes FOREVER to load
I have already contacted customer support but thought I would see other peoples experiences...

Even using my site's IP address to try see it doesn't work. If anyone wants to try and see if they can see it on their end, you can see my site by going to https://bitly.com/downloadthatmovie+.

If This keeps going for another week I'm going to ask for a refund, but trouble is I've already gone on a spending spree and can't afford to upgrade to a better host (VPS would be great). In Feb I am getting quite a bit of $$$ for university and am thinking of a VPS once I get all my textbooks, plasma tv, etc.

I appreciate anyone sharing their experiences about hosting their sites with Hosting24. I went with them because I seen a few good reviews and customer support was relatively prompt (ALOT better than GoDaddy).

I have been with Hosting24 for couple of moneths.
Until recently , they sucked, yeah, many errors & FOREVER-loading.

And I think they got hacked, people were sending spam emails from my domain.
    I'm with Hostwinds now.

Cheers for the feedback... How are things going over at HostWinds? Do you have to pay a whole year in advance or can you pay monthly/quarterly etc?

If anyone else is also with hostwinds post feedback on here, I did consider them a while ago. I am waiting to see what customer support says about all these errors (Hosting24) and if they keep persisting I'm going to ask for a refund and hopefully use that to go somewhere else.

Cheers for the recommendation :), although their packages don't offer enough space for me. But their pricing is quite good...

Also if anyone wants to make recommendation (whether you be a reseller or not), I am only interested in companies that DO NOT SUPPORT the S.O.P.A bill in any way whatsoever. That is probably too much to ask for since alot of hosting companies I have dealt with are US based.

Bad hosting..... the support is good, if you had a problem, they will tell you with this statement "we will give you free 1 month additional hosting service as the compensation" lol...

if you have good visitors, the may suspend your website.

    Hostwinds is awesome;
THere is a coupon code which gives you a 99% discount for 1st month.
    I'll be paying 5.50$ monthly
much cheaper than hosting 24 & better !
