Does anyone working on their blog to fix this issue.

i have lost 70% of traffic...

now i have edited all those pages...

improved loading speed...

I have removed my ads script...

now waiting for Ranking...

What is your position now?

Improving traffic or you quit the blog?

You will need another Core update to have changes fully reflected.

Wait and watch for the update to roll out fully. that's the only thing we could do for now.

Wait for a while if everything is done properly according to google ranking factors it will be back soon day by day.

I redesigned the whole home page, recreated the pages that were ranking earlier. Now creating some niche backlinks manually.

Don't do shi***t. Your website has been "marked" by google as not helpful. Kind of penalty. It won't recover just because you edited some pages. They won't check it, they don't give a shi...t. It may recover sometime in the future a little but usually it is already lost cause.

Best don't do anything. You can't be " sheep " keep follow Google updates. You Will never know the next update they will do what who knows they revert back some stuffs and you happen Tweak your site to suit current Google update. Again back to square one.

If you were demoted just for excessive advertising, it will have a positive effect on you. Positions should quickly begin to return, from 10-12 days.
If you are downgraded in general for a useless site, you will not return anywhere else. Remove the site and replace it with a similar one, but with a different structure.

Overall a very good update, lots of garbage long term Google has knocked out, almost all of my sites got traffic to these removed sites in these niches. Some had up to 1200% increase in traffic where there were a lot of bad sites.

It looks like it will take a while until we see any improvement

Since September I have been trying to recover some sites and it is not possible. All content is handwritten. Different niches and countries. Google now prefers Reddit, Quora and big publishers. Nothing you can do to improve your site unless Google wants "normal sites" again. Don't spend money on quality backlinks because I also invested in sites like Yahoo and quality guest post and nothing helped.

Finally someone who can see what is really going on with Google.

Our website is also affected.
Lost keyword ranking to 0 but all our pages are still indexed with no penalties in GSC. We’re in the hosting industry so would making changes have any affect or leave it as is for now?
We’re ranking well in other search engines.

This is algo penalty not manual penalty so your pages are still indexed. Nothing you can do. This is a new norm for google. They prefer big brands now on almost all searches.

Ah I see. I’m not looking to overtake any big brands but there are a lot of other hosting providers that are still ranking using offshore hosting keywords and similar. Most of these sites are simple (no content) just simple sales text websites and are still ranking. We’re looking to at least rank back to these low level keywords nothing major.

I would wait a bit and if nothing is better I would switch domain name. Make sure to look like a proper business not a blog with pointless content. It seems that blog websites have been affected by google updates. Are you affiliate or sell hosting directly?

Thanks for the advice. We’re a directly registered hosting company with our own network and colocation servers. We did implement a blog in the footer of all our pages with only 5 blog posts not sure if that’s the reason or from the 12 translations we did of our website using DeepL.

Hmm... That few blog posts shouldn't be a problem. Maybe translations caused it.
