I'm curious as to what all of the BHW members are up to these days. What is your main income method - is it affiliate marketing, ecommerce, adsense, services - what? When I first arrived here adsense was probably the hottest method but this forum seems to have moved more towards pinterest/instagram and away from SEO.

For the past 16+ years, I have been monetizing purchased data (email) using PPL (pay per lead...lead generation) offers.

With PPL offers there is no credit card/ purchase required. All a user has to do is fill out a form, so conversion rates are typically much higher that offer that require a sale.

I acquire data because I'm building assets that I then own and can market to over and over at low cost. Compared to buying traffic, that so often just generates a bunch of clicks and fails to turn a profit. Or using some free method that typically isn't worth the time spent to implement.

So by combining the two, I promote PPL offers because it offers the path of least resistance to generating conversions and converting the data into cash producing assets.

Thanks for your tip.
Where do you get your email lists?
FB Ads? Twitter etc?

My main income is content/copy writing. I've been writing for my clients for almost 11 years now. But it's just something that I do until I get this internet marketing down to a science. I think it's important that you have some type of income while you are trying to make things happen in other areas. I have earned some side cash through adsense sites. Adsense sites might be the easiest thing for people to start out in. It will allow you to learn website creation, ad placements, etc. I think you should at least understand those areas before you start affiliate marketing etc. And that is why I started working with Adsense before I started in anything else.

A real job.

IM is just a side project but is becoming more lucrative
