I really don't feel like doing much today so I thought I would waste my time with a new and completely irrelevant thread. Hey, it is the lounge.

My question is what is your all time favorite song?

I will start it off. 'Imagine' by Lennon. I wish life was more like his vision.

I have heard of 'Money' by Floyd, but not the other one by LP. I am going to download it and check it out.

Aenima - Tool

Fret for your figure and
Fret for your latte and
Fret for your lawsuit and
Fret for your hairpiece and
Fret for your prozac and
Fret for your pilot and
Fret for your contract and
Fret for your car.
It's a bull-shit three ring cirrrrrcuus siiideshow of
freaks here in this hopeless fucking hole we call LA.
The only way to fix it is to flush it all away.
Any fucking time.
Any fucking day.
Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona bay.

Once again, I have never heard of that song. I am downloading it now to check it out. I like the lyrics though.

I am going to have to get out from under this rock. Just cast it aside somehow.

I may actually learn more today than I was planning. Thanx for the song.

BTW, I hope you don't live in the city of which you have such a low opinion.

If you like it, you should probably get a hold of everything that Tool has ever put out.

Thunder, thunder, thundercats, Ho!
Thundercats are on the move,
Thundercats are loose,
Feel the magic, hear the Roar,
Thundercats are loose,

Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats!
Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats!
Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats!
Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thundercats!

I love anything by Kate Bush, for instance "Reaching Out" She really belts it out on that one and it's magnificent.
and after 30 years of listening, I'm still not sick of the old "Journey" songs. I may very well be one of the oldest members here, though.

brisk and trixxy - eye opener

flip n fill - walk on water too

Aenima is a good choice. I'd have to go with something by Deftones... Maybe "Knife Party" or "Passenger". "Go With The Flow" by Queens of the Stone Age is a song I can never seem to get tired of, which is nice because it seems to be on the radio all the time. Awesome music video, too.

Wow I am starting to feel old. I just listened to 'Katy Perry' today for the first time. I like her, but that video is some crazy sh1t. If I was the dude from the video I would be very scared. Check it out on demon(oid) if you get a chance. Finally, a singer that you can actually understand.

If you watch it, what is up with the zebra?

I'm glad to be reminded why I gravitated to this forum. Their artistry is unmatched.

Yeah, each album is unique I had my phase with all of them, even with the old bassist. 10,000 days is probably played by me most recently, but aenima and lateralus are staples in my life.

Lol theres a huge difference between tool and katy perry.

You are correct. There is a huge difference between tool and katy perry. I like them both though. Before yesterday, I had never heard of either. Like I said, I am trying to get out from under this rock, but it is warm and comfortable under here.

Katy just seemed so ..... ? . I can't yet put my finger on it. Her video makes her look a little nuts though.

Well, keep commenting.

Linkin Park - What I've Done
I like lots of music but this has to be my favorite because I like the lyrics.
