Honestly, it's weird question.
The best country will be always your country.
Because of understanding the language, culture and people.
Even if you would go to the jail for few years. Is it not better than some emigration? You will understand people even in jail.
I know English, I am not native. But with 3 months immersion I would speak good in the UK, US, Australia, Canada. Are they better? I think not, because I will be always a stranger there. Nothing will change it. Maybe kids of your kids will feel there ok.

Japan is my Dream Country

Are people really here thinking Indonesia is great place or they just went to Bali and think its the same all over Indonesia?
Don't get me wrong, it is beautiful place with interesting people, just wouldn't be my first choice.

Also, Thailand? Really? Why? There are much better options around there (Laos/Vietnam) with better quality food, legit kinder people, diverse nature, budget friendly.

My options:

If all shit hits the fan - Chile (great people with infrastructure and habits that resemble 1st world, not like their other neighbours. Mountains also protect from nukes and malaria/zika)
If retire - South of Spain or Gran Ganaria (only small towns, where people are kind and weather is great for old bones)
If have to go now - Brazil (people are the best compared to all other countries I've been to. If you know your way around and don't go to stupid places, you will be fine. South Brazil small towns are very safe, don't even need to lock your car).
