    Hey there,

I am just trying to get some information together before I start with YouTube marketing.

In particular I am looking for some information concerning pay per download click through rates i.e. if I had a video that offered something for download in the description box what conversion rates should I expect?

i.e. for 1000 Youtube views how many downloads should I expect with my sharecash/adscendmedia link.

I am aware that some stuff will convert better than other stuff but I am just looking for some general conversion rate data.

I don't want your niche and I don't want to know what you offer for download, I just want some generic data!!!

given its an entertainment niche, I got mine at around 3.4%, calculated that with the view counts and using a redirecting tool counter

Hmmm this seems ok. If I then got 20% download rate after that. I would have 7 downloads from 1000 views.

I made $40 off of Sharecash last month after getting 19,000 views. Wasn't the entertainment niche, and was really surprising considering what I was offering. Some of that was sign-ups but alot of them were downloads
