ok i may help you with that!
Mine is more than 10 %
What you do first is find people that post content very similar to yours!
Then what you do is not to follow him/her followers but to open one of their posts and follow people which like &/or retweet their their posts!
Thats it simple!
Maybe you want to do some collab some times !
I have almost 900 followers!

I have 13k followers how the hell you making money off 900 lol. Do you just post links?

are your referring to follwers vs following on social media profiles? For some reason Iv'e always ended up with WAY more followers than I followed on every platform without trying - Tumblr currently 26k Followers, i'm only following 5k .. Twitter I've got over 3k followers, I'm following just under 1k... MeWe I've got 700 "friend" but those have to be mutual - although every day that I've logged in to it in the past 3 weeks straight I've been met with 15-30 friend unsolicited requests - so pretty much same thing.. those are for my adult niche sites of course - a very strong underserved gay microniche focused on a specific common fetish, and 2 straight sites, with those I use more "risque" personas as a pen names... effectively gets the horny bastards coming to me vs the other way around lol

The key is username?

As far as I know, hashtag has no effect on audlt nitche (Twitter)

100% False lol that's how I JUST grew an adult twtter from 0 followers Late June (3 mnths ago) to over 3K followers today - people search twitter for keywords, which and by use of hash tags - which is how you can be discoverable on the platform. Keep in mind, and this is true with all major social media platforms, the amount of searchable data they have available on their servers makes them much more than merely a social network, they're also an alternative search engine. And end users very regularly use them as such (whether they realize that that is what they're doing or not) by searching the platform for what it is that they're looking for. and on twitter, the searches above and beyond the friends/following feeds and recommendations tends to be of the adult nature... Just a fact...

Also, when you are typing in a hashtag, pay attention while you are entering each letter and let suggestions populate - when there is a number next to a suggested hashtag, it is telling you how many times in the past (hours or day) that particular hashtag has been posted and/or searched, allowing you to optimize for the most popular searches as well and further extend your reach. Also, when people like or retweet you, and they have a lot of followers, it's also great to @mention them in a tweet and thank them, that can also alert their followers that they have been mentioned in your tweet, therefore putting your post in front of all of their followers as well

But yeah, whoever told you that lie about hashtags having no effect is full of it lol
