for example I need a logo for my website, I need it to be 125 x 190 px , main colors green and white and to represent a motorcycle. I want to spend a max of $50 on this job and I need it to be ready in a week.

Now, there was this website where you could submit this task and freelancers started working on it and after the week ends you could pick the one you like from all the logos the workers had finished and pay the $50 for it.

Anyone remembers the name of the site please ?

Hi - for this type of work I use freelancer or odesk - just google for website addresses. Freelancer is usually the better to use for this IMHO.

    Peace

No . . . I am not aware of such a website, but we don't allow it here on BHW.
The reason is because it makes a bunch of people work, and then all but one
end up with nothing for their efforts. It's called "crowdsourcing".

Thank you Wiz for saying exactly what I was thinking. It's one thing for a bunch of ppl to bid and one person get awarded the work. He then creates the product and delivers it... but another for a bunch of ppl to create alot of work and just one get picked to get paid.

NO THANK YOU. Not as a supplier at least. And honestly, as a consumer I wouldn't want it either because you know that the people bidding aren't putting their all into it cause they know that the chances of them getting paid are low.

Thanks Wiz for your reply. I didn't want to organize something like that on BHW.

I was just thinking that maybe someone on this forum knows the name of the website because I know for sure it exists, I heard of it about a year ago but I can't remember where.

My name is Emir and I work for Freelancer.com. I regularly visit Blackhatworld.com to help out users with their enquiries on online outsourcing and I came across your post here.

To make sure you get great designers to work on your logo design, consider creating a Guaranteed Contest to attract more entrants. We also suggest offering an attractive prize amount so you?ll attract great designers.
