''Work 50-60-70 hours per week, because the more you work, the richer you will become.'' - A terrible and stupid mistake, it's a common narrative and hyper rich people like to tell it on TV, self-proclaimed gurus say it etc. For newbies: The truth is that you don't have to work 50-60 hours per week. People who make a good buck don't work that much. Working class people and poor people do. The only thing you will achieve this way is screw your health and burden the healthcare system in your country

Nowadays I work 3 to 5 hours a day and I have 4 to 5 times more cash than back in the day when I was working 50-60 hours per week.
Next in my list is quite familiar for many of you. It was the summer of 2011 I think, I was just graduating high school and I had 1000 EUR (a decent sum in my country, especially in 2011) and I wanted to go all in in Bitcoins. My parents and friends dissuaded me, telling me ''don't fall for online scams''.

Next in line is ''quit university, look how many succesful people did it, it's waste of time''. I see that it's quite common narrative especially among people in the US and I almost few for it when I was younger. I stopped uni. Luckily later I resumed and finished my degree, but some of my friends didn't manage to do it. The result is that nowadays many doors are closed for them. At the very least, higher education is socialization. And if you are pursuing degree like Law (for example), it will not just help you for business and hiding taxes, but also you will get to know many future lawyers, politicians, businesspeople etc. Not to mention that many of the so-called ''succesful'' people that you watch on TV who quit their education, have different stories outside the official narrative (family connections, government connections, military and intelligence connections - you name it). For instance, I recently talked with a retired officer from my country's intel. The guy told me that very often they would create businesses and companies, who will look like ''success stories'' and so on, only to wash money and use them for other government related stuff. Anyway, I am diving away from the topic.
Last but not least is 'the famous ''BUY MY X (EBOOK/COURSE/WHATEVER) WHOSE VALUE IS 1854 $ BUT YOU WILL TAKE IT FOR ONLY 89,99 $ AND BECOME GIGA RICH BY THE END OF THE NEXT MONTH''. Nope, nobody is gonna give you a secret recipe for getting rich. And most online gurus are scammers or people who don't know how to make an actual business (except if we don't count lying to 20-year olds and taking their money).
