what is the software called that allows you to uninstall software and all traces of its trial (eg if its trial software that you used and its past the free trial period,t his software deletes all files of the trial software and any registry/additional information that is present on the computer) ? I saw it shared here once before but I forgot what it's called

    cheers

You can try IOBIT uninstaller, Comodo, or Revo Uninstaller that Uninstalls all traces from Windows Registry too.

i think OP is looking for this one:
on the other hand, it's not always enough to remove everything or you simply just can't remove everything even with those softwares and you need to play with the windows clock (manually or using an application) or use cheat engine to trick the trial software and sometimes those can't help either

Also another recommendation is to use sandboxie
    http://www.sandboxie.com/

Install the software in a sandbox and then delete the sandbox when done.

I personally use Revo uninstaller and ccleaner. But I always do test the suspicious applications or downloaded from untrusted sources in vmware, where I've installed windows xp.
