Adds a bit of authority. Meant to bump your listings a bit up the Q but I never saw much difference. If you are looking for reduced fees and you sell regular on fleabay then you should open a store. If your compliance matches up they will give you 10% within 2 months and a further 5% every few months.

I tell you what the big deal is. Confidence! It gives these picky eBay customers confidence in the person they are buying from.
Maybe it did not increase your traffic but it will help conversion rates!

    Good luck!

I have been on eBay a long time. When I see the powerseller badge it makes me even more wary of that person. So then I really look into all of their info, especially any negative feedback. When your #s get high it easily can cover up how much bad feedback they may have had.

Being a Top Rated Seller on eBay gives your customers more trust in you and cause your buyers to be less hesitant when deciding to purchase something from you. Congratulations!

I always thought it was just to prove you are an authority. I for one mostly buy from top rated sellers even if the price is higher. Although there are also some top rated sellers on eBay with very bad reputations.

Lower fee's and higher volume of sales - which is both a win win. eBay mostly promotes TRS items outside of the eBay platform. If you are selling something that sells very quickly and generally has low profit from a large amount of competition, then that extra 10% of unique visitors you get from Google can really increase your sales. The problem is, eBays' traffic is oddly low right now, so it almost doesn't even matter.

This is good if your moving a large volume of products. Helps with the fees.

Definitely makes a difference to many of the buyers on the bay and if you can stay at the 100% even better. You do actually get lower fees and much quicker indexing which does rank you above the un-Top Sellers.

Even if you make the tsr, it make take some time for the discounts to actually take effect even if you already have a store.

The main reasons for Top Rated Seller status is lower fees, and also ability to list more volume. Very useful if you are selling making over 100 sales per day or so. You end up saving a lot of money. Besides, the little top rated seller badge appears in the search results, thus providing more trust to the buyer.

Buyers will trust you more and your listings will be higher ranked. The lower fees will take effect in a while if you have a store.

It's all about people having more confidence in you as a seller when you are top rated. More people might bid on your stuff or buy direct.
