    what is the next legit sounding TLD if com net and org are taken?
    info sounds so lame
    .co is too expensive
    .biz is so lame
    looking for something that sounds real

    Then go for country specific TDL like co.ca, co.uk, etc., if you are not country specific then the only option left is .info.

    Agree. Country specific are more professional sounding than some of the other TLD's.

    I've found it difficult.

    I would personally stick to .com and .org

    If your keyword is already taken, find a variation of it...some variation of your desired keyword must still be available.

    (BTW, never use hyphen domains, if you can avoid it.)
