I can't deal with Scrapebox anymore.

It's great for scraping but for proxy testing it takes on average 1 hour just to run through a list of 1000 public proxies. In fact, yesterday I tried to run through a list of 4,112 proxies, came back 6 hours later and it wasn't even half way through the list! I just can't deal with this shit anymore.

I also have GSA but can't use it for proxy testing since I have it running 24/7 on a separate server and wanna keep GSA proxies & resources dedicated solely to GSA.

But I need something FAST. Paid or free I don't care but I will only use it for proxy testing.

Can people please make me some recommendations?

Also, what is the main bottleneck for testing thousands of proxies? Is it bandwith, memory or CPU?

Thanks,

-BB

SB V2 has fastest proxy tester, I am able to test upto 10k proxies in 5 minutes.

10k proxies in 5 minutes?!

Can you give me some specs on the system you're running SB on? I just downloaded SB V2.0.0.27 beta and it's testing on average 25 proxies a minute.

It's gotta be the system I'm running SB on. I have 3 different computers a VPS and Server so I'm gonna move my license around on each system and see where it runs fastest.

The thing that pisses me off is in the past it use to run fine on this computer. I'd be able to test about 5000-10,000 proxies in 2-3 hours but lately I can't test proxies at all due to how long it's taking. Time to switch licenses around.

That was for "no google test" (i use them for different things not for scraping)
Also, the time of port scan also makes a difference. (i scan ports myself and then start testing proxies within few minutes, If your port scan was 2 hours ago then it's usual that about 30% of proxies will be dead by now)

Internet speed , proxy location , proxy speed and many other things affect test time.
(if you are testing 3rd world proxies with 100 connections then you won't be able to test much fast even if you are on dedi with 1gbps because proxies will be slow as hell and they will delay the process. )

Just did a test of 707 proxies (shared 2 hours ago by tompots on bhw, most of proxies were 2rd world) on my lowest specs vps (1gb ram 1core ssd) on my SBV2.0.0.29 and it took about 15 seconds to test those proxies.

You are doing it wrong if it takes you more then 1 hour to test 1000 proxies.

i just use xgram's proxy tester or any other bot made by chris which has a built-in proxy tester, they can run upto 100 threads

Ok, you guys are giving me a sad face with these miserable speeds. BB if you want to hit me up via PM, I will share a proxy scanner with you. If you think scanning 10k in 5 minutes is fast then it should be fun to see your reaction to what I'm going to share with you. :)
