I recently found a keyword with 5M monthly searches and its competition is very low. I got the keyword domain as well, it's .org.

So, as a beginner in SEO, what is the fastest and most efficient way to get indexed on page 1?

    Thank you.

5m in broad match? If yes, then check exact match result. The fastest way would be to set up website and insert content there, whether it will be on page 1 - you'll need to check out SEO section here.

5m monthly searches and the competition is low? Now I could be completely wrong here and you could have stumbled on to a gem but more often than not no competition is a sign that the particular niche is not profitable. Will be curious to know how it works out.

Submit the url to any number of pinging sites. The pings will send the Google robots over to examine it and upon doing so, should index it in almost no time.

I am using Google's Keyword Checker, and it says 5M monthly searches as well competition low.

I checked it manually, by typing the keyword on Google and there is no big competition on first page. Some sub-sites, which are showing on first page, because no one SEO'd this keyword most likely.

On the left hand side you have "Broad" checked. You should also check off "Exact". This is the exact number of people who have searched the specific keyword.

That's correct, it was "Broad", but what is it exactly?

I tried using the "Exact" check as well, shows 60,000+ searches, which is pretty good I'd say.

I will be monetizing it with AdSense mostly. So, what do you guys recommend me to do?

I will be doing meta tags, add content and that, but I somehow feel it's enough. :)

There is no "fast" way. But if you want to get there and keep it there, I suggest attempting to own as many of the links as possible, so they can't disappear and you can control anchor texts.

I'd also concentrate on passing authority from high PR and aged sites. Not mass spamming low quality comments and crap.

Hi, like they said the real important numbers are the exact match ones, and 60,000 is a very good figure, but try to check the competition better because when it say's competition low on google keyword tool, it's the adwords competition, not the actual rankings competition.

I would recommend that you first focus on long term, quality link building on high authority sites that are older. If your domain is new, Google takes between 6 months+ of serious backlinking and unique content addition to start taking your site seriously. Don't let this put you down.

The strategy I am going to share with you will work only one time, so follow closely....

Get a shirt printed up with your domain name on the front and back. If you can afford it, get a baseball cap with your domain name on it too. Next go into the bank and hand the teller a note with your domain name on it and below that the amount of money you want in a bag. After you get the bag and leave, you will be known as the whateverdomainnameyouhave.com bank robber and likely get a homepage link on the FBI.gov website. It's a lot of work for a PR 8 link, but you know how Google loves .gov links. Just try to reduce any footprints by wearing sunglasses and possibly a wig.

Ok, now that I have rambled on with something you should obviously NOT do let me get real. Most of what many claim can rank you fast will drop you just as quick. Go slow, steady and do not automate anything if you are new. Those new to SEO benefit from manual work as they can normally see the fruits and spoils of their labor.

Good luck and have a great weekend. :)
