In google Adwords tool, I can see three options in match type, Broad, exact, phrase match. What is the difference in them? What match type we should choose for our keyword search? I have heard that we should always use exact match but don't know why. Can anyone explain me this?

Let's take the keyword "lion meat"
Exact - shows searches people do for that 'exact' match only: lion meat
Phrase - will include the exat match, plus prefixes and suffices: fresh lion meat, lion meat market, rotten lion meat
Broad - uses phrase, and related keyword terms like: fresh lion steaks, fresh ground lion, spoiled meat from lions, the lion meat store, etc.
