I want to do some tests with manually spun content. The texts are grammatically correct and good readable. Varying on the tool I use for checking the uniqueness I found 60 - 90% uniqueness. (Of course that does not mean anything.)

I am wondering now what is the best criteria to test if google likes these texts or not?

I put some of them on web2.0. They were

    • all indexed
    • if I copy/paste a whole sentence of a post in google this post will show up first

Is it reasonable to assume now that google views this content as unique or at least does not hate it?

Im not really sure I understand what your asking but use copyscape to check it for uniqueness.

Remember uniqueness does not mean it will be readable.

60% uniqueness is really not that good depending what you want to use it for.

To truly get it unique you will have to hand spin the article all the way to the word level. You could try wordAI too

If it is indexed and it shows up on the first page when you search for a sentence in the web 2.0, then Google deems it unique and it will rank if you build links to it.

Contrary to what some people might think, you don't need a 100% unique article to rank in Google. I've ranked articles with just 60% - 70% uniqueness.

As we all know about Google Penalty so the content should be unique, some of good tools are Wordai and Duplichecker(Free).
If you want some good quality tool then I would say go with COPYSCAPE.
    Cheers!!!

simply not true. It is still possible to rank with spun content. There are recent case studies proving that. Google is not almighty. It is just an algorithm. Yes it is getting better and better but spun content can still work.

BTW: If you want to sell your services you better learn how to approach people a bit more smoothly

EDIT: It is funny how you can ask a specific question and some people always want to make it a debate on principles. I know spun content is dangerous and I certainly will never use it for my money site, probably not even for Tier1. But that was not my question...

You are doing it all right, the criteria is to have it readable with at least 50% uniqueness.

Well... just because it shows on the first page when putting a full sentence in quotes doesn't mean they consider it to be unique. Take a look at any popular news articles that have been syndicated and search for a sentence. 100 different websites may have that exact same article and at least 10 of them are going to show on the first page - but of course Google knows it's not unique.

Now if it showed up as the #1 result, it may be safe to assume that Google thinks your the original source of the article.

That is the case. It even shows up #1 without quotation marks. I interpret that at least as a strong signal that google classifies the content as unique.

Good example given by CyberAlien. I usually use these type of content for my tier3/4 backlinks in GSA SER.
For tier 1st always use 95% unique and quality content with almost 1 video and image.

    Here we go again.

Yes, it's still possible to rank with spun content, but the authority of the article won't stick.
If you have a unique article written, then the authority will stick and should last as long as the article is hosted.

As for the question "What is the criteria for highly spun content to work?" it's authenticity.

50%-60% unique it is very low in my opinion,
Everything below 90% is not good (depending on the use ofc)

Sorry that mean nothing, because you can aslo get duplicate content indexed easy and aslo copy/paste a whole sentence of a post in google this post will show up first

Another one who doesn`t know anything. Spun content works, auto generated content works, markov text works, karl marks text works (last two are for those who know how to use auto generated content and cloaking). You can even rank 100% dupe content higher than original article source. Everything still works. But with spun or auto generated content you need to know how to make it convert (it`s not that hard).

    Cheers
