If you are just starting out then no,

You will get by with a domain of $10 a year, and a hosting max of $3-5 a month. Not the best host probably, but if you are on a shoestring, so be it. Your writing budget is whatever you can keep content being pushed out from your writer regular. Decide on a monthly content budget, and get articles for the month. No need to publish them all at once, you can build them up as any legit site would. If after 1 year you haven't had any conversions, then you'll know for the next niche, it can't be any worse than that! lol

Make sure you also register for free ahrefs webmaster, perform SEO improvements according to ahrefs console, and track changes you make on a spreadsheet.

Good luck, all web journeys start with a click, and it sounds like you'll be doing a few of those! :)

Not sure if this helps but you can buy these type of sites on ebay for a few bucks

I hope to succeed I am new to amzone affiliate sites

Depending on how quickly you can write, and the quality of your content, you can save money by writing all of it yourself.
Personally, I'd invest the money into high quality links after you've got a few thousand words on your site of excellent content. If in doubt, @splishsplash can help you out with PBNs and @MisterF can hook you up with niche edits.

Always remember that one high quality link is much more beneficial than 10 meh links.

If you are going to write content by yourself and also handle the seo, so it can be started in less than $100.

Hi check pm please

It's much easier to rank info content
Affiliate income reports are shiny but you need a powerful domain to stay at the top

The days of standard amazon review sites are over.

Commissions are low. Competition in SEO is in FIERCE.

The people who are still succeeding in affiliate marketing and SEO are doing direct deals with manufacturers.

It's not a good business type for newbies though. You really need to have a good working system and know exactly what you're doing to make ROI, and ultimately your goal is to sell your site after 18 months to 2 years so you can profit. It's quite hard to profit from the monthly because you'll have to invest a significant amount to grow it.

You'll be better doing something exceptional, have your own niche product and build your own business. This is easier than being an amazon affiliate these days. I'm not kidding you.

If you have some money to spend just on SEO and can afford to lose it, you can verify whether it's enough for your niche. Chances are you will waste that money. You need 2 years just to get started and you might never see a positive ROI, until, as mentioned, you sell your website quickly.

I have been browsing some businesses based on Amazon affiliate and they pump a lot of money into it (6 figures). I'm not brave enough to even register a domain for this type of venture. It doesn't sound convincing to work everyday on a website just to see $500 per month in 2 years. Awfully low income.

Maybe if you want to be an affiliate, try something less popular and start in a local, perhaps non-English market.

If you're looking to build a site by yourself, then your budget is close to zero.

Your costs are probably only going to involve your hosting as well as your domain registration fees.

There are tons of royal-free, stock photo sites out there so images don't have to cost you anything.

Also, you can use images straight out of the Amazon product pages of the products that you're trying to promote with your site.

But if you not going to be writing your own content, prepare to spend a little bit of cash hiring ghostwriters.

You probably also would want to speed up the ranking of your site, and this can mean spending extra on link indexing as well as basic backlinks.

But as much as possible, focus on building an organic website.

You can reduce your costs by simply reverse-engineering your competitors.

Here's how I would do it.

I'd find a sub-niche that I am confident in.

I will then hire a virtual assistant to look for affiliate sites that already rank well in that sub-niche.

I would enter their domain names into paid SEO tools like SEMrush to get a lot of information intent keywords that are easier to rank.

I will then cross-reference those keywords with their monthly search volumes.

Using this technique, I will be able to find keywords that are easier to rank while at the same time can deliver a decent amount of traffic on a monthly basis.

The next step is to figure out the search intent behind those keywords and create content that delivers a better value to existing content that ranks for those keywords.

As an optional step, you can even feed your content into tools like Frase or Surfer SEO so you can use the contextual keywords your competitors are using to boost the on-page SEO of your content.

The key here is not so much optimizing one article or targeting keywords.

While those are important, it's also important to note that you need as many posts as possible.

We're talking about at least 100 posts per blog if you want to have a fighting chance.
