Hello all,

I'm considering starting my own digital marketing agency, I'm experienced in Facebook ads and Google ads plus e-mail marketing.

I'd like to use these skills to build something of my own - however, where do I start?

And which pitfalls should I think about?

Hope some here can give me some advice

Cheers!

You can decide first on some factors like : Will you be focusing on a certain niche? Is this a remote agency? If not, where will be your location? What is your brand name? What will be your agency structure? How will you hire team members?

Good luck!

1. Try to build the sample portfolio. Do it for your friends or family.
2. Show case that to your prospective clients. It goes a long way in building the credibility.
3. Referral are your best source to get clients.

1. Get a basic website.
2. Have a process to turn leads into sales. A CRM, email sequence, etc.
3. Nail down your onboarding process and docs
4. Use something like Asana or clickup to track workflow
5. Get a pretty reporting template made, then train VAs on how to do the reporting
6. Get good VAs and pay them well. Good VAs can make or break your company and sanity.
