What is the best way to sell apps?

I have a couple of profitable apps in the affiliate and dating space that I am looking to sell. I looked at Flippa and EmpireFlippers. But found them to be specialised mostly in websites.

Are there any better ways to flip apps?

Sellmyapp is a good option but FYI flippa has 40% apps and games sellers.

Yes, its quite easy to create apps these days. However, ASO and organic traffic still remain a challenge. In my case, most of my apps have atleast over a million downloads, add atleast 10k new users organically everyday and are quite profitable. However, I am looking to retire and hence looking to sell.

Acquiring 10k users from tier 1 countries itself would cost about $3000-5000 everyday. If there are not many organic users or an already existing user base, as you said, there is not much of a reason to buy an existing app.

I am not saying its not possible to build ASO or organic traffic. I am sure many here will be able to do that. But it might take time. So its a choice of build over time and wait for results or buy now and enjoy immediate results.

I was hoping that someone would have faced a similar situation and might have good reviews for ways to exit businesses.
 
I'd say go to Flippa but I hate them.
 
Facebook groups. There's a lot of them out there.
 
You can use the eBay and Facebook market place which are known to the maximum users

I don't know if someone suggested but motioninvest.com is pretty awesome.
They will personally make a valuation of your website and if it qualifies they will offer you two options:
Either buy it straight away from you or you get a listing on their platform. Hope it helps!

Hmm, the Facebook marketplace does not allow you to sell digital products/websites/services...
At least from my experience they always rejected such items with warnings and I even got banned one time.
I had to send 10 emails to get it back. Almost got in contact with Mark personally :p

It's actually really expensive to get a good app coded
 
I too have some apps in dating category on playstore but struggling with ranking and organic install. I was wondering if you will help me a little.

By that logic nobody would buy anything. Why buy a logo or an article? Both are way easier to create than an app. Why buy a website? Easier than an app.

I don't see why an app wouldn't sell unless it had nothing new or interesting to offer.
