I recently purchased VPN for running few softwares and bots. Many of you might to have already bought, or using VPN. What do you mostly use it for?

To hide my real IP from the interweb. That's my reason #1.

Well, so it can be used to watch all those blocked websites. So, what's the minimum configuration of a VPN, so as to watch a movie or YouTube or anything else?

    1. Hiding real IP
    2. Access sites, which are blocked in my region, or example only USA
    3. GPT sites

Yes, it can be used for many other things. Even accessing sites were your IP is banned.

I bought a VPN, with 1GB RAM, and single CPU. But YouTube runs like shit. So, what do I need to upgrade, RAM or core or both?

If you want to run more bots, you need to upgrate. anyway bots will work perfectly on that VPS too.
It will be laggy, but will work.

If you are a hacker VPN is a MUST - just saying.
But for Internet Marketing VPN is recommended as well. IF you ever got banned anywhere - you easily surf the site.
And as others mentioned - you hide your real IP.

what you're descibing isn't a vpn, it's a vps (virtual private server). trying to watch videos on a vps isn't a good idea. with a vpn, it just mask the ip of your network, and you don't connect through rdp. if you're just trying to watch blocked videos on youtube try out hotspot sheild. search on google for it, it's a free vpn. after you connect with a vpn, you just use your computer like normal and your ip will be masked.

unotelly is the best one am using .Cost: $5.00/month; UnoTelly specializes in giving users access to geographically-locked streaming content, like Netflix USA, Hulu, and Spotify. The UnoTelly service is offered in two parts: UnoDNS and UnoVPN.
