No one can answer that question but you.

One person could be getting 10,000 followers a day on their account, but you might be shit at promoting that way and struggle to get 10 followers per day.

Personally, I believe that creating your own "brand" accounts is the way to go. If someone is prepared to pay you $x for a shout out on your account, then they're going to me making more money for themselves in the long run. If you figure out exactly what it is they're doing, and do it better, then you can make a LOT of money.

Selling traffic and affiliate marketing via Instagram is not something I would recommend. You can make much more money selling your own product to them.

If you're looking for quick cash, then growing accounts to around 10k and selling them is probably the best way to do it. You can easily get to 10k followers in 1-3 months, if you know what you're doing, and sell the accounts for $100-200.

Do that on ten accounts every month, and you have a nice passive income. Do that on 100 accounts every month, and you're going to make a killing.

I wrote up a thread a while back about how I create nets of accounts to promote one another. https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/building-an-authority-network-niche-ideas.915461/.

dropshipping and fashion is huge on instagram and seems nearly unsaturatable. I'd look into that
