What is the best SEO strategy for a website of a hosting company?

We're interested in doing a re-engineering of our SEO, bringing more traffic to our website and making/converting it in sales ...

We want to know some tips from hosting companies about their SEO, their advertising and what they want to tell us.

We are currently paying to advertise on Facebook ads and Instagram, but we want to make a total turnaround to increase our presence.

Some tips for bringing more traffic in your website are the following. First, have an excellent on-page SEO by having quality content. You should consider cross-linking, text originality, clean markup and structure, article length, and keywords. You should also include related media and images to add more interactive content. Some of the things you need to avoid when it comes to on-page SEO are hiding content, outdated web page structures, and incomplete or broken markup.

The two replies early didn't really draw on the fact that this is extremely competitive. There are a ton of web hosts, and a ton of web hosts with large SEO budgets. In addition, you have many sites who are affiliates of web hosts trying to rank. You are going against the grain on this one - consider other marketing techniques before pledging a big $ campaign.

Could not agree anymore!

So many hosting companies that are resellers getting launched daily so it's going to be very tough and paid traffic is out of the equation because the cpc will also be very high

Web-Hosting is really saturated now. Everyday there are re-sellers coming up with new websites and making it more competitive.

If you can build your business for Local Clients that's the only way you can survive.( Local clients such as Government tie-ups/ Local Business Owners)

My town has more than 200+ Companies in Hosting Industry ( Some are in even TOP 10 of USA) but they have a lot of Local Clients and fixed revenue model.

SEO hosting is a great way to raise your search engine rankings. Provide high quality and unique content that people want to read or use.

There are the old standbys: backlinks, content creation, sitemaps and robots.txt files, internal links.

And there’s new(er) stuff to get excited about as well: voice search, featured snippets, the mobile-first index, adding images and videos.
