Buy a domain name and cheap hosting, with black friday coming up you will get a good deal.

The domain should be generic, so you can use it to trial any of your projects.that you wish to try.

At its core, nearly everything you will do will need a domain and hosting, or be made more simple / better by having these things, this I beleive to be the best usage of your funds.

Great point. Reinvest in tools/knowledge to make more cash. Cos let's face it $70 ain't much.

With some good ol' fashioned elbow grease you should easily be able to double that this (if not 100s times over). That's a 100% return - something virtually no investment can come close to (jeez a 10% return is OUTSTANDING).
