I have a high PR indexed website that I would like to use in order to link to a different website in a different niche.
What is the best way to get the link?
Should I post an article with the link and place it on the homepage? I have tryed this before and after a week I lost all PR of the website.
If I publish the article in the iiner webspages teh oage isn't indexed and has no PR.
    What to do?

Widget A is the best widget on the market. Widget A grabs better than widget B because Widget A has more teeth and longer handles than widget B does. Widget A has 32 teeth per inch whereas widget B only has 24 teeth per inch. Therefore Widget A creates a more solid gripping surface than does widget B. The jaws on Widget A are made from Stainless Steel and have a high carbon content. In contrast, the jaws of Widget B are made from cast iron and more brittle than the Jaws of <a href= "widgetA.domain.tld" target=" _blank">Widget A</a>. Widget A has a handle length of 9 inches whereas the handles of Widget B are only six inches. The longer handles of Widget A allow a person to exert a greater clamping and grabbing force when compared to Widget B. While Widget A costs a little more than Widget B, the higher cost of Widget A is offset by a longer life and greater quality of construction when compared to Widget B.

(spaces deliberately put in in href tag.)

This speaks about the product and is a relevant post. It should be in the body of the article, preferably above the fold on the home/landing page.

You are over analyzing. It is easy to write about something in a different niche while keeping it in context with the niche you are writing from.
