I have this simple question for the advanced SEO marketers.

What is the best linking software on the market today?

I mean I hear about xrumer, AMR, linkwheel, etc..

    What is the best??

    Thank you for your input

If you want to do true whitehat methods you wouldnt use any software. This question should be asked in the blackhat seo section :)

I disagree... Using software doesn't mean blackhat... and if you were to looking at things in black and white from Google TOS - any form of link building - done to improve your websites positioning could be deemed 'blackhat'.

Taking a look at tools and if they are considered blackhat:

    Scenario:

I write an article, and submit it to 500 directories. This could take me a few days, a week, maybe longer. All done manually. Whitehat?

    Or

I write an article, put it in AMR and either blast it, or schedule it to submit over a period of time. Time taken, an hour, maybe a bit longer depending on writing speed/style/research. Blackhat?

The difference to the above, is your working smarter using a tool which will save you time.

The same goes for scrapebox/xrumer/senuke - these are realistically time saving tools, and I wouldn't consider them blackhat at all. Would you rather spend a month building links when you can set any of these up in a day and schedule them off (if they have scheduling features of course). Plus, tools like scrapebox can do many more things than just spamming blogs.. such as checking index statuses, checking backlinks of competitors, finding new sites/link opportunities, or more sites for any given software if they have an import function.

Now I have put forward my view of blackhat/whitehat tools :)

To answer the OP - no 1 tool can be considered the best, as they all do different things, in different ways. However, all used together, 'correctly', can achieve good results.

If your tight on a budget, I would personally purchase AMR and Scrapebox. Xrumer is about $500 last time I checked, and you can easily outsource a few blasts to people here on BHW for a fraction of that price. Scrapebox is invaluable, and AMR has always delivered results for both myself, and for clients.

You can build your own link wheels manually, outsource to someone here, or purchase SeNuke/RankBuilder/any other similar software. The other option is to create your own bot using uBot or Zennoposter.

    Good luck :)

I agree with Dn100, using software is not always blackhat. After all the software is just a tool, what matters is how you use it.

Scrapebox is invaluable regardless of any other software you intend to buy!
I would recommend buying it first and really master it before getting any other software. Search for a discount, I believe you can get it for $57

If you're on a budget, start with free tools such as the little portative commenter (blog comments), power directory submitter and mini xrumer.

Yes, because using automation software to perform tedious repetitive tasks is all blackhat, you need to spend weeks submitting to 1000 directories... Retard.
