What is the best IRC/IM/Chat clients?

I used to use Samurai bot with auto inviters, mass messaging bout 10 years ago,(lol) but now I cant find it!

Im not updated anymore with how the Chat game works currently. Which softwares do you recommend? For IRC, ICQ, YM, MSN, AIM and other chat networks im not even aware of? TNX

Well if you want ALL of those at once go with trillian... if you have firefox and just need a simple IRC client then go with ChatZilla..With Trillian you can chat with users on ICQ, AIM, Yahoo Messenger, MSN, and IRC.

Caesar you got a chance to play with TrillianAstra? Looks like it takes ages for them to release it, I once signed up for a beta testing but can't remember with which email I did, found once a cracked version of it but that was binded with spyware so I didn't bite it, does trillian astra support OTR conversations? Just wondering how it is because It looks nice from what I've seen on their website.

Back to the OP, I'm with Pidgin portable and it's nice.

Pidgin is good. Miranda is good as well. But now I'd recommend Digsby. Only problem is that Digsby doesn't support plugins like Pidgin and Miranda does.

For IRC, you can try HydraIRC.
