Just assume for both of these questions that the niche doesn't suck.

I'm interested in BHWs opinion on the average time it takes for a new blog to gain enough traction to get 1000 unique views a day. This is with typical SEOing tactics, no PBN, no major Social Media signals, manual backlink building and relatively good content. How many days would it take to get to this point? In your opinion.

The next question: Same goal, but this time how quickly could it be done with a PBN, average SEO package social media signals, more backlinks and edus, good content and good web 2.0 content, articles submitted to article sites, and average SEO package authority site linking. Again, how many days? In your opinion.

That's such a random question with infinite variables.

The fact is, even with exact informations such as niche, competition, budget, PBNS etc. nobody could actually give you an honest answer.

It seems like to me you're in a rush. SEO doesn't work that way at all. you'll probably have to wait 30 day anyway.

the main difference will probably come from your own experience. If you've never built a PBN, or if you never worked on on-site SEO etc, it will probably take you month to get an idea of what you're exactly doing.

PS: there is no "relatively good content", either your content is top notch quality and it helps, or its not, and you will never get on top.

You're right on all those points. My question though, wasn't "How fast do you think I can do it?" it was on average how fast can it be done. So, for example, how quickly have you gotten to this point in the past?

Not trying to be a jerk or rush anything, I just wanted to know some information. Thanks for at least taking the time to respond.

really depends on how good you know SEO and how competitive is the niche. If you're willing to rank in 15 days, you're probably going for a churn and burn method. Otherwise, it will take time to stay on top on the long term. And it costs money. Unless you create your own product/niche.

To be honest you wont get a proper answer to this. Some might have done it in 7 days and at the other end some will have failed totally. So unless someone reveals exactly all their methods and keyword competition etc and their complete strategy it's a waste of time asking for it. Some might say it tool x weeks but do you have exactly the same niche, keyword strategy, writing ability, competition. Google will also rank easier for some keywords than others. So there is no average across such a broad question. Even if you get those 1000 uv's quite often you will be bouncing all over the place for positions so you could find you lose all the traffic and then it comes back. All you can do is try your methods and then get your results.

I appreciate your replies and you simi-answered my question islandman1010. The purpose of my question wasn't what it took someone to get to 1000 UV a day. I really wanted to know if 1000 UV a day has been done in under 10 days. Since you said 7 days in an offhand way, I assume it has been done in under 10 days before. Again, I'm not saying that it is something I can achieve, but I know if someone has done something before, it isn't impossible. I know there isn't an exact science to this but having your opinions on the matter give me a better idea of where I'm going. So again, thanks for your time, and if you want to reply more then I'd love to know your stats on previous websites or experiences you had when ranking a site from the start.
