What is the average adult landing page conversion?

So I was wondering what the average conversion rate for an adult paysite would be.

Built mine myself which is fairy long form, plenty of calls to action, pics + gifs of scenes in this niche, loads pretty fast (the gifs make it slightly slower).

Only had 5 conversions from 5770 visitors. The landing page offers a $5 discount and looks good to me. Anything I can do to optimize it?

Did you consider an opt-in news letter for future promotions ?
 
Thought about it but I don’t think adult newsletters is really a thing is it? Only ever going to offer this discount too. It’s a tricky one.

You will basically collect lead for potential promotions you may want to send them directly
 
You are doing good OP. The only way to optimize and get more sales is to split test other offers.

Totally depends. I'm guessing you do paid traffic with those numbers?

Sorry 130k for the whole site, I should have said that. 20k views on the landing page with 22 conversions. Not sure if I should aim for more traffic or try switching around the landing page. Or both.

20k social traffic resulted in 22 conversions? God damn... Yeah that's total shite mate. Either your landing page is complete shite, or the traffic isn't interested in adult sites really. Try switching ONE at a time, you'll see better results.

*For reference; I get about 1:30 convert with Smartlinks. Currently got 95$ from 2000 UV's (rev-share). Social traffic.

I appreciate the honesty, yes I think it's bad too. The traffic is looking for free adult content so I think that's the problem. The product is $25 recurring so the income is higher and conversion will be slightly lower than a smartlink.

Just wondering if there's anything in particular to an adult landing page that would increase convserions?

If that's PPS, I think it's quite average to be honest.
 
i think you need to improve your landing page, try to check other people landing page for comparison
 
Each traffic method has different average CR. If you run pops or other non-targeted traffic source, then your results are pretty much average.

To increase your CTR and CR, make your page load fast. Generally, measure your page load with gtmetrix.com first, then optimise all the images (use tinypng.com for it), use CDN like Cloudflare (I recommend to turn on 'Argo' option if you use Cloudflare). Split test at least 2 different landing pages.

If you use landing page that leads to an offer page (so you use landing AND offer page) then you have to measure CTR to the landing page and CR with tracking software like binom.org or voluum.com. Then if you your CTR is high, but CR is poor, this means your offer is shit. If your CTR is poor, then your lander is shit.

I think its pretty good. 1:1000 is good for pps/revshare. Just continue to optimize your you landing page and you will do even better

Good shout. Spent over a week trying to get load time down and already using Cloudflare but I may work on optimizing more.

My landing page only leads to their homepage (from there they click signup, etc) rather than direct to signup page. Do you think that would affect it?
