    hmm... seems new
there seems to be threshold for which this appears...
currently seems only for america/english oriented .[tried several local literarary books which had more searches than certain physics books , but nothing was there]
most websites which appear on right have stars in serps. [certain books had amazon link on top of serps but they didn't had rich snippet ????????????? , & such links were absent from right]
    only few websites were repeating
some books were geotargeted , some were not.
i scraped serps for 100 popular books on goodreads , + some science books
I feel google has still not rolled out this fully.

    EDIT:-
Small & new Sellers are ####ed . If this appears on everypage

Contact google and ask them how it is done. There you go, I pointed you in the right direction. Look forward to receiving my $20 :)

From what I have seen it is only the really big sites that give starred reviews who get it. I read a lot about films and TV and I usually only see IMBD and Rotten Tomatoes, etc, featured in this section. Does your site review books, or just sell them?

Our site sells books, and has reviews too. We have 20 million pages indexed by Google.
We're currently #1 for our category killer keyword.

But we want to rank to the top for each keyword book title.

I have a new strategy I will try soon.

Does this mean you don't have your book title ranked yet? Little confused. Also, do you have the reviews on your site itself, or do you have it on like Barnes and Nobles, Amazon, etc? It seems to me whenever I see a movie or book title on the right like that, all the reviews come from things like imbd/rotten tomatoes or amazon/B&B.

I think to get that thing on the side you need a combination of both book title ranking + a lot of reviews on sites like B&B, Amazon, and the like.

    The answer is:

Those are Google shopping results, and those on the right with stars are top Google trusted stores results. Become a Google Trusted Store and get high ratings and lots of them in order to show up.

    Please send me your paypal.

Yes that's true, we don't rank yet for our book title. We are actually selling used books, so we don't appear on Amazon or Barnes and Nobles. We hope to beat Amazon/Barnes and Nobles one day.

So I will get us approved to become a trusted store, and I will make sure our site ranks to the top of every book title key term.
