What Is Link Building?

I have a very different definition of link building.

Link building is manipulation.

If you are in any way familiar with Google's quality parameters, link building in the strictest terms is manipulation.

Google frowns on link building.

Do you know what works when it comes to Google's ecosystem?

Link earning!

There's still links involved.

Outside sites are still linking to you.

But instead of you entering your target keywords into some sort of forum so that the form will spit out a link, you actually have to network with these sites and prove to them that you are somehow credible or an expert in your niche, and they would then naturally link to you.

Does this happen overnight?

Of course not!

Is this much better than traditional back link building?

You bet!

You can actually get a lot more results with a handful of these types of links than if you were to just use traditional link building techniques or buy your links from a PBN.
