I hear this all the time. How is "Latent Semantic Content" different from regular content?

Is this just some buzzword that doesn't mean anything?

I've never heard of Latent Semantic Content. I've heard of the term Latent Semantic Indexing and its an algorithm that associates certain words with other relating words.

A piece of content which is optimized for Latent Semantic Indexing would be a piece of content about a topic (your target keyword) that also has words which relate to your target keyword.

    e.g

    Target Word:

    barbecue

    LSI Words:

    meat
    flame grilled
    gas fired
    charcoal
    beef
    sausages
    burgers
    tongs
    beer
    party
    gathering

Words which when covering a certain topic would also get mentioned.

Ok, this is how you do it:

    1. Open Your Internet Browser
    2. Type in: http://www.Google.com (You can also just type Google and press CTRL+ENTER)
    3. Now type the term you wish to search on. For this case, "What is Latent Semantic Content"
    4. Now visit any of the websites in the search result to learn more.

    Good Luck
