Hello everyone i have been around BHW for a while already and always tried to fix my own problems but since some people on here are way further in Internet Marketing then i am, i would love some advice from you guys :)

So i hired a webdesigner a while ago for my client his website but the site already had a lot of issues in the system ( I hired the wrong person for this job) so i'm planning to re-build the site myself in a CMS.

But before i'm gonna do that i wanted some opinions on what is the site lacking at this moment to be a eye catching good selling webshop where you would love to shop your fitness supplies at?

What is missing to be successful and look superior to the rest ?

    url removed

    Thankyou !

Hi. I've looked into your website and It is simply good but I find the colors boring, fonts are small, and maybe you could also widen the slideshow and put an interesting picture like a cover photo with discount to capture buyers attention. :)

The first thing you need to do is change your URL structure to 'SEO Friendly URL's' ... however that translates in your CMS.

Also, I didn't see any https areas ... I think you'll need a certificate and the SSL logos so people trust your site.

You need a new logo, it's difficult to read or understand what it is.

It's far too simple, there needs to be added color or colored accents.

Other than that it's looks like a site I would consider buying off of.

I've been using Magento for an eCommerce store and while it is initially difficult to learn, it's free and has a fair amount of functionality. The best part is that there are large number of designers that provide templates that will look better than anything you, or a private designer, would likely create for the price.

yea I would put only the top selling items on front page and limited the front page to categories instead of products. Will sell way more that way.

The images on that website look appropriate, but it looks like you paid for a navigation bar and a jQuery slider. Really, that website looks pretty plain, and the header is cluttered, too.

You might want to remove your clients website address from the OP now.

Looks good to me (not that I can understand the language), but from a visual point of view it is neat and tidy - perhaps some more 'stand out' colors?

LOL...your client should probably fire you. Asking for info/outing his site on a public forum.

Where do people find such foolish "clients"?

Now THAT secret is where the money is...

Thankfully you warned him after I saw it.

I have emailed the company and let them know what an idiot OP is, along with a price list for my services and various testimonials.
