Your domain name? What happens if you get de-indexed and you change your domain name? I'm assuming it's not that easy but I'm just trying to understand exactly what Google blocks.

If you de indexed by google then the whole drama of seo goes into waste.Google never takes any of your links or any of your articles again back.
so we must be very careful.

It depends on why you were de indexed and what happened as it's usually on a case by case basis. If you were de indexed for lets say purchasing spammy type links, then you could use the Link Disavow tool to remove unwanted links and then submit a reconsideration request to Google which would then give you the possibility of reclaiming position(s). Have you been de indexed? If so, what occurred so we can give you a clearer understanding of what happened? If you let us know what happened we can better help you to let you know if there's a solution.

Thanks for the response. No I haven't been de-indexed. I'm just starting to learn SEO and I'm trying to assess the risks of BlackHat vs WhiteHat SEO. I'm guessing never use Blackhat methods on a reputable company website? Only on your own ventures?

BlackHat Methods can be effective even on a reputable site but you must be careful so you need to know how to use it and how much to use it. I recommend that you consult with some professionals on here that have a good understanding of what's safe and what isn't. I've used BlackHat methods plenty of times but it's usually on smaller niche sites or for my clients looking for quick rankings for their sites that are not authority or company sites.

Try searching the forum, there is a lot of info here.
Generally, if you use black methods, you need a buffer site to protect your money site and be very careful.
