What is Footprints?

    Hello guys,

    I have a noob question, what really is footprints? I couldn't find the definition of the term, on BHW I found out many threads on how to use them, but what are they really?

    generally footprints means tracks left by something..

    i assume you found footprints about different platforms.. well, in that case footprints are something like identifiction mark for a certain type of platform..

    Footprint can be anything which allows others to track you down. Say using multiple accounts from the same computer without clearing cookies/cache would let the server know that all the accounts are opened/accessed from the same computer by tracking the cookies which stores information about each account.

    Footprints is what's left behind on your system after visiting a site and performing a variety of actions. I suggest you to use CCleaner to avoid issues.

    oh wow, so many different explanations.. !!

    i thought footprints were either:

    1) things like "powered by vbulletin", etc..

    or

    2) leaving all sorts of evidence that you are spamming, especially if you have a network of sites

    Wow so many different explanations that my head starts to spin. ;D Lets put it in an example, like footprints for scrapebox. How do Footprints help you working with scrapebox, and where do you get them?

    I asked this question before i think like a year ago. ya everyones answer is rite . now the tricky thing is how do you spot the footprint and use them to your advantage. im still trying to wrap my head around that
