I am looking for inputs from those who tested - forgetting theories for a moment.

At this moment, if you have a Facebook page with some age (say a couple of months) and a decent number of posts (say 10-20 posts of reasonable content size, quality and relevance) and the FB page has the keywords in URL, and if you also have a 3-6 minute long Youtube video of a similar age, title having the keyword, a good strong 1,000 word related well-written article below the video as page content, which of the two will be easier/faster to rank for the keyword?

    Inputs please.

SEO takes some time (depending on your kw) and you have to invest some money. Good thing is you can earn money for a long time if you are ranking high.

YouTube can bring you traffic very fast, but the risk of getting banned or your video deleted is very high (also depending on the niche or kw). Some people are mass uploading. Few years ago I also did YouTube and it was working perfectly, but now there are too many flagger and YouTube also changed their algorithm. They delete videos automatically etc.

I have no experience with Facebook, but its a great opportunity to get traffic. You can build a popular page by yourself or you can simply buy one. Place some ads in the posts or something.

Thanks, some good points made, though it does not answer my question.

Assuming that Youtube does not delete a given video, the Facebook page made are content-rich enough etc., what I am looking for is some clue to which one among the two is likely to rank faster, given that they are targeting the same keyword, have the same age etc.\

Sorry if it's not a useful answer. I don't have experience with neither Facebook or YouTube... But why not set up a test? The best way to find out is to test it yourself. Collect as much info as you can and then analyze your results. Go with which ever one worked out best.
