Hi all, I'm working on a local site and I am using an EMD.

I've done a large citation blast (about 200 citations) I have 5 web 2.0 sites, some forum links and 3 or 4 niche edits.

My branded anchor text (which is also my EMD) is at 87%

What's the cheapest way of bringing this number down?

You might want to hold a contest among bloggers and just brainstorming here.

Assuming you can get access to set up local forums or a local Facebook group populated by local bloggers, you may be able to pull this off.

You'd be surprised as to how cheap people will work when it comes to "contests".

Interestingly enough, many don't even compete for money

You can give away custom badges or graphics as 'awards'

In many contexts, people prize STATUS more than money

The cheapest way to dilute anchor text ratio is to use generic keywords in your anchor text and link to relevant, authoritative pages.
